Help! UCI vs. UCD vs. UCSB vs. UW

Hi, everyone. I am an incoming freshman who’s struggling to choose between these schools. I applied to all the UCs as undeclared in the school of arts and sciences, and I applied to UW as comparative literature major. I know UCI has a strong English program, as well as UW. Therefore, can you guys give me some advices on each school? Which school has a better literature/humanities program?

How do costs compare, and how much does that matter (e.g. in terms of amount of debt)?

I think UCs schools are definitely cheaper for me, since I am the resident. However, I am not sure whether UW is worth the money for me to go there (I believe it’s double the cost for UCs).
