Without really thinking I submitted the "resident status information" without the intention of enrolling in the school yet. Since, I'm still awaiting decisions from other UCs.

Will this affect my admissions to other UCs?

NOTE: "resident status information" is not same as SIR. Or i hope is not.

Ferrari4XD: have you personally submitted UCSD’s “resident status information” and then get accepted to another UC?

i sent in the resident status information too, no need to be scared. When they want to take your money thats when u know u signed SIR.

ieatsharks: Thanks, you have relieved me of this silly stress i’ve burdened myself with.

This anxiety from waiting admission decisions is making me crazy.

@randomlurker its all good now we got our acceptances! our time to relax ! its our turn to pick and choose which colleges make the cut :)

ieatsharks: Oh, noo…i have another week of waiting left.

Cal is what I’ve been waiting for…and i’m having nightmares that i’ll screw it up somehow…like automatically disqualifying myself with this residential information submission.

All this waiting, studying in the library, and drinking coffee is destabilizing my sanity.

@random
no im didnt apply to ucsd, but I know for sure that won’t hurt your chance from other schools.

@Ferrari4XD
If you don’t mind me asking, what are your sources? I know i’m being ridiculously paranoid here, but it’s still itching in my head…

@random
no sources, it bases on my knowledge and instinct because it doesn’t make sense.

if you change your resident status in your application back on novem then it will hurt your chance, but in your case then no.

@Ferrari4XD
I see. Thanks! You and ieatsharks have given me some ease over this stupid thing.

First, and only BUMP.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone else submit their “resident status information” without the intention of attending to UCSD yet?

@ieatsharks: did you get any acceptance AFTER you submitted your residential information to UCSD?

@randomlurker once i got accepted i submitted my residential information

@ieatsharks
I meant to say did you get acceptance from any other UCs after your submission?
