Before actually starting college in the fall, I took some summer per-requisites for Chemistry (Intro to Chem/High School Chem) and after the summer course I received a C (This is in a Community College). So My problem is that if I should message my professor to drop it to an F, retake the course, and pass with a better grade in order to have a Better GPA to transfer OR Keep the grade [C] as it is.. Any Suggestions? Note: I am just an incoming Freshman to this Community College.

I’ve never heard of a prof having the discretion to give an F if a C should be the grade. I don’t see how an F will be better than a C. With an F you’ve basically failed to fulfill the prerequisite.

You should also double check if that course counts in your transfer GPA since it is technically a remedial course.

If you are passing a class and don’t want your likely final grade, the thing to do is withdraw and take a WP. Is it past the deadline for WP?

Withdraw deadline has passed… sadly …
@JAMCAFE How could I know which courses counts for my transfer GPA and which courses doesn’t?? Please and Thank you!!
