Hi,
I'm interested in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and have been accepted to
University of Portland
University of Denver
and Seattle University
I am wondering which one I should attend.
What is your opinion on any one of these schools.
I currently live in Portland, Oregon
I have about a 3.6 GPA and attend a Catholic high school.
I have taken AP and Honors classes.
Which one of these would best suit me? Why did you choose one of these?
What are the pros and cons?

Well, what do you want out of college?

^ Cost is the key.

Well, It’s going to cost 17k for UP, and just under 20k for the other two.
I would like to know what you think the reputations of these schools are off the top of your head. Thanks for your replies…

Denver is probably the best academically out of the three, but they are all on an equal level. Where do you want to live?

Well, I’m not sure if I want to live in the heart of Seattle, and I already know Portland well. I’m just not sure what kind of people attend DU, but I like Denver’s city and location its just an expensive plane trip away…

Denver has a fairly large party scene; much bigger than the other two schools. A lot of wealthy students go there.

Denver also has a larger graduate population than undergraduates. Some 5,500. Whereas UP has about 300. How do you think this will affect undergrads at Denver?
