hello everyone, a good day to you.
i'm now a ap history student, and , we will have a document based question in the final, and i never did it before, so , would you guy please help me about how to cope with this?

um, well, why didn't you teacher go over this with your class?

your teacher never had you guys practice dbq's? that's odd. anyway, don't freak out. underline all of the things that the question is asking you so you remember to answer it all. use as many documents as you can, using more than half of the documents given is a good rule to go by. don't quote things from the documents, but use their ideas. form an opinion about that period in history and back it up with outside information that isn't given in the documents. just incorporate it all together to completely and logically answer the question. if it's easier to write about something that you don't personally agree with, then it's probably better to go that way. good luck!

I missed about a month's class, and during those time, they went over the DBQ. and, he's so busy, his dest is like a resort, always surronded by a lot of student~~~dismayed me

i agree with everything Squiggle said, but i was told that it was okay to quote things from the document as long as it is done in moderation.

how come my teacher said you have to use ALL the documents?

Nash13, my teacher also said we have to use all the documents or all the documents except one.

yeah, my teacher said that use of all documents is highly recommended, but to always use at least half.
