I was accepted into both vanderbilt and uva, and I was wondering how well vanderbilt and uva are known for biz. Is there really a huge difference between them in the eyes of recruiters? Additionally, since getting into mcintire is not a guarantee, is the possiblity of getting a mcintire degree worth choosing uva over vandy? thanks for your help and advice.

GO TO UVA!!!! Mcintire is top-notch. Blackstone recruits out of there so you know its damn good.

yeah, if you want to do business go to UVA keep up a good gpa and you should get into Mcintire without a problem. Even if for some reason you don't end up getting into M. then an economics degree is probably going to be looked at just as well if not better than any degree at Vandy.

Vanderbilt is a great school but they don't have a business major and aren't particularly well recruited by any banks or prestigious business firms.

These schools are almost identical, but in this situation, go to UVA and work hard to get into McIntire. UVA has filthy placement on Wall Street too,
