I accidentally used a Number 4 pencil on my AP World History exam without realizing it. Do you know if this will affect my score/will my answer sheet be read by the machine? Should I contact CollegeBoard? Thanks!!
Lol this is a good one. Made me laugh.
Also this LEADS (haha) to this: http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2010/10/why-you-used-to-have-to-use-2-pencils-with-scantron-forms/
Tl;dr technology is advanced enough that something like this shouldn’t be a problem.
Lol at the fact that I have never even heard of a number 4 pencil
Same here. My mom must have bought them without knowing they were #4 pencils. hahaha
Assuming this is legit, if you get a horrendous score you don’t think you deserve you can pay to have the MC rescored by a person.
@matt846 is that a thing for AP exams? I thought it was only for SAT?
@DigitalKing I’m pretty sure it is. It’s somewhere in the student booklet if you have access to one.
Yup. For the OP, I doubt that it will be an issue.
