barboza get’s called out and he takes a shot like that? really? Perhaps you’re not the best rep. for UVA.

wow barboza. one word… OWNED

Look at the numbers accepted to ibanks and consulting firms, relative to class size. Compare and UVA wins. I don’t need to resort to personal attacks like you have, because I know it pains you to be rejected from UVA.

Further, I am not spewing bs like you when it’s even clearer that UVA owns Michigan in US News and BusinessWeek rankings. Oh, maybe you can attribute that to Michigan’s higher acceptance rates. Wait, please raise your standards first?

“I don’t need to resort to personal attacks like you have, because I know it pains you to be rejected from UVA.”

The astonishing amount of contradiction in this statement is…wow. I have nothing against UVA but I, much like many people on this site, am so completely alienated by your combination of arrogance and ignorance that it is really hard to view UVA favorably. I say this not to upset you (though I have no doubt you will retort with another classless dig – perhaps UM’s football record) but to inform you that you are quite possibly scaring away more potential applicants than you are attracting. Just looking out for a peer institution. For those interested in the University of Michigan’s standards, perhaps ask the President of the United States. I can send you a link to his address if you’re interested, barboza. Chances are you saw it on CNN, though.

This is getting a bit silly, don’t you think?

These are two great schools, dramatically different in size and character, both with a number of stellar programs. Regardless of where the OP goes, s/he will make have bright and motivated classmates, have the opportunity to interact with inspiring professors, and will undoubtedly have access to great career services offices that routinely have top companies calling. Simply having those things isn’t enough, though.

One shouldn’t pick based on any sort of ranking system when considering 2-3 strong programs. Where you feel comfortable is the best school. Where are feel at home and happy is where you will actually take advantage of all the great resources provided.

I looked at them and Ross wins relative to class size. You must be blind. Go reference the actual pages and post your math here if you want some credibility. I know you won’t because you can’t.

You obviously have no clue what [academic peer assessment rankings](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/797962-college-comparison-xxii-usnwr-peer-assessment-ratings.html?highlight=peer+assessment) are.

Perhaps you can put up an argument that UVA = Michigan overall and I’d agree, but Ross >> McIntire in terms of recruiting. Also, I got into Cornell, WUSTL, and Berkeley, which are all “better” than UVA. Sorry but I chose Michigan for a reason, and that’s Ross’s recruiting. I know what I’m talking about, you don’t. [Everyone else agrees, too](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-virginia/901426-ross-preadmit-vs-uva-mcintire.html?highlight=ross).

The only silly part about this is barboza’s ignorance.

Recharge… just stop it. Us Michigan students hate it when someone comes to our board and talks down to us, so lets not do it to UVA. Especially when Ross = McIntire.

OP, go to where you love. They are all top universities and you will have a successful life in whichever school you choose to attend. Check out the schools social scene first. They are all very different.

Sigh… it’s useless trying to reason with these delusional wolverines.

The only delusional one here is you.
Oh well, I’ve already won. No need for further debate.

Cheers :D

come on guys, they both are really good universities. No one can go wrong if they go to one or the other. Recharge, no one has one the debate here and Barboza, no one is delusional. They both are great universities, that’s the end.

Recharge won the debate. I’d give him a 4.4 rating.
