HELP! UW-M or UIUC for ChemE

<p>I'm in a dilemma I love both UIUC and UW-M.</p>

<p>UW-M is overall a better university based on rankings, but I'm really afraid of the budget cuts.</p>

<p>UIUC on the other hand is a better engineering university but with what I've been reading there's nothing much you can do there and I don't understand why it's not under the College of Engineering. Will that affect anything? Plus, I read that usually, It's the TA's leading the discussion and I don't really like that.</p>

<p>What do I do?</p>

<p>They’re both great schools and very highly ranked for ChemE in particular. I don’t really think it matters which one you choose. I’d suggest going through all of your non-academic factors and making your decision that way.</p>
