HELP! VMCAS help please!

Hey vet school people!

I sent in my application last week and just figured out that VMCAS doesn’t accept my foreign transcript from my study abroad in Belize. When I originally emailed VMCAS about it they told me to put it as a foreign institution and that I might need to get my transcript evaluated by another company if my designations indicated that I needed it evaluated but didn’t say how I would know if that was the case. I’ve been emailing them off and on since to try to figure it out because I figured that there would be a notation after I chose my colleges but there wasn’t. They finally revealed to me that I need to find out for myself if they needed an evaluation. So now I’m freaking out because my transcript would have to come all the way from Belize (might take two weeks) and then would need to be evaluated and sent to the schools. I’m freaking out. Does any one know if there is a way to call and get it taken out of my application? Or what I should do?!?!?! HELP!

I’m sorry I don’t have an answer for you, but you might try visiting the student doctor network. It’s a discussion board for med and vet students and applicants with a wealth of information and tips on the application process.
