<p>I was wondering whether or not it is an anomoly that I did not get my interview yet since I applied early-mid december, while a friend of mine applied on the january 1st deadline and already got his. Should I be worried? Should I call Penn?</p>

<p>Penn interviewer here. I would not worry. There’s really no rhyme or reason with the interviews. It could be you were not assigned an interview; it could be that your interviewer hasn’t contacted you yet. One thing I would suggest is that you check your mail filters on the email used on your application. More than once I’ve had my emails to prospective students filtered to junk mail. Calling Penn won’t accomplish anything.</p>
<p>Sometimes it takes time. In the ED round I took part in a Penn presentation at an area HS. A couple of students came up to me with questions about the interview process. One of the students told me he’d applied RD but that he’d already submitted his application. I JUST got the request to do his interview…</p>
<p>Good luck to you - try not to worry. Interview reports are not due until late February so there is still plenty of time.</p>
