With current SAT score, USC and UCLA are High Reaches and Stanford is almost impossible.
You need some outstanding EC’s, essays and an SAT score of 2200+ for UCLA/USC for a good chance. With your posted stats, you need to take a step back and re-evaluate your schools. For the present, you are aiming too high. Repost with your updated SAT score and GPA. Calculate your UC GPA: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
Thanks for the response! I definitely have many safety schools in mind, these really are my reach schools. However, I consider writing essays as one of my strengths. Do u think if I do raise my SAT score by 300+ and maintain or manage a 4.0 my senior year, would my chances increase?
UCLA does not consider Senior year grades for admissions, so your GPA will be what it is at the end of Junior year. Stanford and USC will consider Mid-year Senior grades, so they could help you. Raising your SAT score will definitely help your chances for UCLA/USC but Stanford will always be a Reach regardless. Good Luck and I am glad to hear you have some safety schools and hopefully match schools on your list.
In my opinion, things aren’t looking very sunny for you.
