Hello everyone!

I'm crazed about UC Berkeley! That' why I'm at a CC in Fairfield, California, trying to transfer as a junior.

So here's my stats. Please tell me what are my chances and I'll appreciate it.

GPA: 3.97 (got a B in my one unit nontransferable GPA class but all As in my major and IGETC classes!!!!) I'm done with most my IGETC and major classes

Major: Political Science and French (I'm thinking of going to law school for international law)

Languages of Fluency: Burmese, English, French

Ethnicity: Burmese (came to the US when I was ten)...I don't think my race will help since there are a lot of Asian/Burmese people at Cal!!!!

Extracurricular Activities: Staff memeber of campus' newspaper (I'm a prolific writer)
French Club (I barely attended a meeting).....
I interned at a local newspaper this summer for twenty hours a week because my mommy made me
PeaceJam: an international organization teaching the youth to be non-violent and linking them with Nobel Peace Laureates. I went to a conference in Oregon, met Rigoberta Menchu Tum (1991's Nobel Peace Laureate), got a private interview with her and wrote articles about my experiences there for my school's newspaper and for the local newspaper......
I also helped started PeaceJam chapter at a local high school, mentoring teenagers....
Volunteer Work: This summer, I helped out at the juvenille hall when PeaceJam members were teaching the kids there about Nobel Peace Laureates and the importance of nonviolence...I'm also part of Adult Literacy Program, teaching English to immigrants

Next year, I'll be faciliator/mentor for high schook kids at their PeaceJam chapters

I'll also be meeting ten Nobel Peace Laureates this fall (including the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu) and interview them for journalism

In addition, I also co-founded a speech and debate academy for little kids. I tutored and helped them with their speeches every week.......

Work Experiences: 10-20 hours of tutoring little kids and disabled students per week on campus....

That is all...

Thanks
