Help! What are my college fits?

Hi, I am a rising senior, and I have a 3.85 UW GPA and 4.18 W GPA, 31 ACT, 2160 SAT. I've taken the most rigorous coursework available at my school, but have 1 C and 7 B's in AP classes (measured by the semester). I live in Oregon and am Asian-American.

I'm looking for matches with good international relations programs, but it would ideal if the college has a good sense of community. I want to apply to both liberal arts colleges and private universities.

Any help would be really great. Thank you! ^^

Georgetown may be a good fit for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I feel like Georgetown is way too big and doesn’t have a very inclusive student body. Is this a true statement?

bump 10 char

These universities have schools dedicated to IR, government, political science, etc. Some of them may be graduate only, I didn’t look too closely.

American University (low match, safety-ish)
The George Washington University (match)
Tufts University (match, maybe higher than GW)
Princeton University (reach)
John Hopkins University (reach, not entirely sure though)
University of Chicago (can’t really comment)
Harvard University (reach)
Columbia University (reach)
Brown University (reach)
Penn State University (relatively tough to get into OOS, go for something better if you’re going to pay OOS tuition)
University of Pittsburgh (honors program in conjunction with the graduate school) (low match, safety-ish, BPhil in IR offered only with the honors program)

thank you for your list! it was very helpful.
