Help! What are my odds!

Hello all! I really want to study international relations. I’m applying to UF (in-state), FSU (*), William and Mary, American, Tufts, Georgetown, Dartmouth, and MAYBE Princeton (only early action). What do you think are my odds?

You would definitely need to retake the SAT and ACT if you want a chance at Princeton or any of the Ivies. Good job on your AP exams and SAT IIs. UF, William and Mary, and American would be safeties or low matches. As for the others, Tufts may be a low reach? Honestly Dartmouth and Princeton are just a flip of a coin; some people get in with certain stats and others don’t with similar stats.

@Avancer Why retake the SAT or ACT? OP has a 34.

Getchur SAT up muh dude

I disagree with @Avancer

Just submit the ACT score and not the SAT score. Princeton’s average is 33 (in fact, no Ivy has an average higher than 33), so if you get rejected it won’t be from your test scores. Plus, a girl from my school got into Harvard, Princeton and Columbia with a 33 ACT score and a 3.93 GPA.

@kassh4 35 is safer lol

Both of your test scores are in the top 1%. You’re fine in that department. Also, this is one of those threads where the only answer to your question really is just “who knows?”

^also agree. I think it’s also based on the area you come from. According to Naviance, the average score for the ACT was 35 for my school so I just based it off of that.
