<p>Hi~I'm in NY and I don't want to leave NY unless a really good college accept me like Ivy League
I have 2200SAT
Haven't taken SATII
4.0GPA
I'm/was in arista, cooking club and math club
I volunteer a ton: counselor assistant, nurse assistant, teach elderly, kids, accounting firm ………and so on
Assuming I have good essays and teach recommendation
WHAT COLLEGE CAN I GET INTO?!?!
CAN I GET INTO NYU?OR EVEN IVE LEAGUE?!

<p>OP, why don’t you do some research before asking us for some more specific recommendations? try the SuperMatch in the column on the left. Play around with the options and see what comes up. There’s a hundred school in NY for you to attend. So you do the heavy lifting and we’ll suggest the adjustments. In addition, you haven’t given us nearly enough information to help you. <p>Ivy League probably aren’t within reach (due to your ECs) and NYU is a reach.
What’s your parents’ budget?
When you say you don’t want to leave NY, do you mean the city or the State? Why not look into PA, NJ, MA… which have excellent colleges?</p>

<p>I’m planning on getting the student loans so I don’t really care how much it costs. And I don’t really want to leave NY city, but if I have to, around here, like Boston , is ok</p>

<p>ECs are Extra-Curricular activities. You can only borrow $5500 as a freshman. Once you’re a senior that goes up to $7500. You need to ask your parents how much they are willing to pay. The SUNYs are a great value in-state, as are the CUNYs.</p>

<p>Your self-education cannot be done totally by CC forum, OP. Do the work you can do yourself. You’ll sound less like an ingenue after you do your homework, and people will be more willing to help with schools and merit.</p>
