HELP!?! What High School Math Course?

In my county there are two types of Pre-Calc.
One is called Functions/Trig.
Two is called Functions/ Analytic Geometry.
If I were to take Pre-Calc over the summer, that includes both of those.

Well obviously option 3 is the most rigorous, so in my opinion it is the best. I do agree with @apandia though. Take summer courses if possible.

This is the math sequence guys. http://math.departments.pwcs.edu/modules/groups/homepagefiles/cms/980800/File/Middle%20School/MS%20Common%20Documents/MS%20and%20HS%20Course%20Sequence%20Chart%202012_13.pdf?sessionid=372dbf6bb3057fb27e8b74c409768a59

Talk to your GC at the high school, and maybe your middle school GC as well. Some prerequisites are written in stone. Others are just guidelines. Geometry is somewhat outside the progressive sequence of the other math classes and there is no good reason why a motivated student couldn’t double it up with alg2. In fact, some schools teach alg2 before geometry. There might be a small amount of material missing that you would have to cover, but especially doing geometry with alg2 should be quite do-able. Harder to do with alg1, but if you had a good prealg class and if you are willing to learn some material over the summer, it might work. I would check with the geometry teacher about that.

You want the analytic geometry precalc. The other includes trig which you should get if you take pre-AP alg2.
