Help! What should I do about AP Calc?

I'm a senior currently taking AP Calculus AB. I had decent grades in my first semester, and ended with a B.

However, second semester started and I'm having so much trouble with this class. I'm sitting on a 69.1 currently. I might get a D. I just took a test today, and I see that I got an F on it. My grade keeps falling and I can't seem to do good on tests no matter how well I thought I understood the concept. I don't even have senioritis. I actually brought up a B class up to an A this quarter.

The third quarter of school year is over soon (middle of March) and I'm really scared I might get a D. Will FSU look at my third quarter grade and rescind me? I am fairly positive I can at least get a C in fourth quarter, because the only reason I'm failing this quarter is the midterm test grade that counted for third quarter's test grade (so I started with a low D...) I've been stressed out so much I constantly google for people in similar situations like me, and sometimes I see hopeful answers and sometimes I see negative answers.

Does FSU look at your overall semester grade? (if so, I'll be able to manage a C)
If FSU does look at each quarter grade (in which case, they'll see I got a D (possibly) in third quarter) I feel like I'm completely screwed.

FSU will look at your overall semester grade - whatever is on your transcript that you will send them at the end of the year.

If it makes you feel any better, my boyfriend got a D in AP Calc and FSU still accepted him. Still not a guarantee for you of course, but doesn’t mean FSU won’t accept you.

Hope this helps a little :)

FSU only sees what is on your transcripts. If you’re in a public high school in Florida, that means 99.99% of the time that it’s semester grades only. If you’re struggling in AP Calc this quarter, just note that you have to do well next quarter to balance out and get a C.

Anything below a C in your senior year grades is a red flag, and will likely get you rescinded from FSU.

Just keep a C in the class and you will be fine (as long as your other grades don’t drop as well).
