Help! What should I do so I don't get my acceptances rescinded?

Kind of a long-ish, complicated situation so thanks for all the help :)

So basically, I completed my IGETC and pre-reqs for all the schools I applied to (UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB) at the end of the Fall 2010 semester. This Spring 2011 semester, I'm only taking 3 classes (I have 69 units completed already, so unit count is not a problem) that are only needed to finish my AA in French, so they're pretty much just filler classes.

The problem is, I'm not doing well in 2/3 classes. In addition to falling victim to Transferitis, both of my grandpas were diagnosed with cancer, which has added some stress and hardship to my family. I know I have an A in my Intermediate French class, but I have a low C/high D in my Cultural Anthro class and a B/C in my Linguistics class (more likely a B, but I like thinking in worst case scenarios). The deadline for dropping my Anthro class has passed since it's a short-term class ending in 3 weeks, but I can still drop my Linguistics class with a W by April 1st if I have to.

I've also signed up to be on the waitlist for Conversational French (which would replace Linguistics as my class needed for my AA if I drop, but the class doesn't start until April 14 so if I drop my Linguistics class now and don't get into French, I'm screwed) or an easy Gen. Ed (i.e. Philosophy or Theatre) so I can cover the 10 unit minimum I need to keep my officer positions on campus.

So... what should I do? I have a 3.89 UC GPA right now, and I don't really mind it going down as long as its high enough so that I don't get rescinded from any of my schools when acceptances letters come (or not).

I have a couple choices in mind -
a) Stick it out in Anthro, get a C, drop Linguistics, Take Conversational French and pass with an A. A + A + C = 3.33 GPA
b) Stick it out in Anthro, get a C, keep Linguistics, get a B, Take Conversational French or an easy Gen. Ed I can get into and pass with an A. A + A + B+ C = 3.25 GPA
c) Stick it out in Anthro, get a C, drop Linguistics, add 2 easy Gen. Eds, get A's, transfer without French AA. A + A + A + C = 3.5 GPA

HELP!! I'm stressing out over this, I need to be able to transfer!!

Well not sure what’s best for you but I was just in a similar situation. I was originally enrolled in 5 classes, got a serious case of transferitis and dropped French 4 and Music Appreciation and received a W in both. IGETC, 60 units and major requirements are finished and have a 4.0 UC GPA. I emailed UCR (already admitted), UCI, UCSD and UCLA and they all said it will not affect my potential for admissions since I had already finished everything I needed to. Hope this kinda helps…

UCIHopeful, what did you write in your e-mail to let them know? I think we are in very similar situations!

1st email: I said that I was thinking about dropping and that I would receive 2 W’s and was wondering what would happen. They all replied along the lines of: you should strive to finish your classes with the best grades possible, blah blah blah…

2nd email: I said I dropped the two classes and received W’s for both (even though I really hadn’t yet; I just had to know) and i asked if my applications would be discarded. They all replied along the lines of: Thank you for informing us of your change and we can assure that if these changes don’t keep you from completing IGETC/major reqs./60 units then they will in no way affect your admissions decision.

So then I called UCI and UCR just to double check and ease my uptight worrying and they verified what I was told in the emails…
