help -- what tests should i take in december?

<p>OK, so I'm wondering what tests I should take in december. my situation is kind of complicated. here we go..</p>

<p>i have a 32 ACT : 36 V/36E/31 Math/25 Science (i retook it and tried to bring up the science but failed)</p>

<p>relatively bad SAT i's compared to my ACT (610CR/660M/710W if i remember correctly) but I had been sick and had a migraine, and I was a national merit scholar for PSATs and consequently had an SAT tutor so i know i could do better if i retook these</p>

<p>my SAT II scores are : 720 lit/660 math/570 French (ahh!! i did way better on the practice tests... but like didnt get one of the passages and froze up. sigh)</p>

<p>SO....since most schools just take the ACT instead of the SAT i AND 2, i could just keep my current score, or possibly retake it if i tihnk i can do better on science... and forget about the SATs
*BUT i stupidly took advantage of the send scores free thing and sent my SAT scores to four of my top choices. ALSO my top choice requires SAT IIs as well as ACTs, so they will see my bad SAT score.
*Given this-- should I retake the SAT Is? will it hurt me that schools will see that score, which is way worse than my ACT score?
*or should i retake the SAT IIs since for williams it's required to have these and i KNOW they'll make a difference... but then again.. it's just one school
also the SAT II french bothers me and i kinda want to re-take it</p>

<p>your ACT score is really good.
If you're not planning on majoring in anything scientific, I say just send your ACT score.</p>

<p>Have oyu signed up for the tests already? If not, it's too late, you'll need to take it as a standby. Your ACT is great, and there is another ACT test on the 9th if you want to try at that. You could improve on your SAT IIs, though.</p>

<p>I've planned to retake the SAT IIs and the ACT in december. The tests are close together and I've chosen to study for the Math II and Lit not only for the SAT IIs but to help on the ACT as well.
And I thought the board sent SAT Is and SAT IIs seperately? Either way, colleges will probably only consider your best score, and that's your ACT</p>

<p>no- college board sends everything together, i checked :(. and i am signed up for both tests , but that doesnt make me feel as if i necessarily have to take both. hmm. it's a good point that colleges are supposed to consider your best score; but i guess i'm still worried the bad SAT score will affect their reading of my file. </p>

<p>but probably not worried enough to sit through the painful , never-ending SAT...</p>

<p>i guess i will go math and french. -sigh-. maybe ill go up another ten.....</p>
