Does it look better to a scholarship committee to show that you’ve put effort in to it by applying to many scholarships, or just to not list them altogether?
"List all other scholarships for which you have applied or plan to apply for. For each, provide the application status and the possible award amount. "
I don’t want them to think that I’m already getting a lot of financial aid when in reality, haven’t yet been awarded any of those applied for.
If it’s optional, do not answer.
I know of at least one prominent scholarship that asks a similar question. It is certainly not listed as “optional”, but I suppose you can refuse to answer if you want to take that approach.
