I am applying to Stanford Restrictive Early Action, and if I send my test scores tomorrow, will that be a problem? Does Stanford need the scores BY Nov. 1 or do I just have to SEND them BY Nov. 1?

Tomorrow is not nov. 1?
I would send them before nov. 1st to be on the safe side. The whole thing is online anyway so why should you have a problem with it?

@Haltanu- the problem is that SAT/ACT scores aren’t sent immediately, for who knows what reason. The amount varies, but it’s usually safe to expect 2 weeks for delivery. I can’t help with answering the main question though.

Edit: I just checked, and my scores were sent 8 days after I ordered them to be sent.

So is it okay if i SEND them before the 1st even though they won’t RECEIVE it by the 1st?

I am in the same predicament with Illinois. My Illinois application will not be processed until they receive the scores/

You could send it as a rush delivery but that would be an extra $20 or so…

It wouldnt matter rush now since they process in two business days, which means the transaction will go through and they will receive the scores on nov 2nd. So it doesnt settle anything

guess we gotta do regular decision, no big deal.

Im pretty sure it wont work that way, as long as its postmarked. Do the colleges at least receive notification that the score report is paid for and will be sent?

I think colleges understand that it takes collegeboard a while to send scores…

I would call the admissions office and ask if it would be an issue.
