Help, where should I go.

I did not receive admission to any one of my top choice or
target schools at this point and I'm going to have to make a decision soon.
As now my options are UCR, Rutgers, Marquette, University of Delaware. I am an Asian male.

my intended major is computer science
and I am from california

Are there big differences in the cost for you? Run the numbers here, and then talk the results over with whoever it is that is helping you pay for your education: [FinAid | Calculators | Award Letter Comparison Tool](<a href=“Your Guide for College Financial Aid - Finaid”>Award Letter Requirements - Finaid)

cost is not a factor in my decision.

i’m guessing it doesn’t really matter…they are all kind of equal

Hard to tell without knowing you and what you value. Some things you can do to help you decide, besides visiting:

1) take a look at the course catalogs for each school to check the depth and breadth of coursework in your area
2) check out what the career centers at all these schools offer - who recruits there? How good is the support for students who are job hunting, looking for internships, want to network with alums in their field?
3) download some copies of the latest student newspapers - what are the students talking about? biggest concerns and gripes?
4) look at the social calendar for the year - who and what came to campus? what clubs are there? did the departments do anything to support their students?
5) what support is there for student research (if you care about that) in your area of interest? which faculty are working on what topics?
6) what’s the culture of these schools? how big is the frat scene? Is that a pro or con? how do people spend Saturday night? sports scene? etc…

You sound a bit down at the moment. Understandable - but don’t let it keep you from doing your homework re whats on offer. You may find yourself getting excited about one or more of these places once you look a bit deeper.
