<p>I think you can put it in the additional comments box, which is in the writing section of the common application</p>
<p>Now my additional info isn’t showing up on the PDF preview of the Common App, even though it’s below the character limit…ahh!</p>
<p>I would definitely do it in the Additional Information section, although I’m not sure if you still need this advice.</p>
<p>How about for science? What if someone is published in science. Wouldn’t that technically be an academic honor? Should that be placed in the awards and honors section?</p>
