help which math course to pick

<p>Hi </p>

<p>I took Calc 1 and 2 around 12 years ago. I got A in both courses but things have gotten rusty.</p>

<p>My problem is I dont want repeat college algebra, trig etc just to get to be able to do well in Calc class. It will prolong my stay at community college.</p>

<p>I am also aware that I need strong algebra and trig skills to be good in calc</p>

<p>What would you recommend?</p>

<p>Should I take College Algebra or take precalculus(audit it)</p>

<p>Which would be MORE beneficial to me in terms of succeeding in Calc I and II?</p>

<p>P.S I have heard Calc is 90% algebra</p>

<p>I would suggest the precalculus course. You will benefit from a refresher in trig as well as recapping some algebra.</p>
