HELP why is UCLA psychology page so confusing?!?!

I have a C- in my intro to psych class from a 4 year institution 4 years ago. This says you cannot have a C- in that class. Then it says if you retake one class, you are ineligible - only to have the next statement say if retake two or more you are ineligible.

I am applying to UCI UCB and UCLA for fall 11, and UCLA is the only school that says this about retaking classes. At all others, you can retake them, but they will not count towards your GPA, but it will demonstrate the passion you have for your major and the difficult circumstances you were in previously in your life. SO if I decide to retake any classes to help my chances at UCB and UCI, I am no longer eligible at UCLA?? is that what this means?????

* A C or better is required in Psychology 10, Psychology 100A and Psychology 100B. A C- or better is required in the other preparation courses. All courses must be taken for a letter grade.
* Repetition of any preparation course more than once results in automatic denial of admission to the major.
* Repetition of more than any two preparation courses results in automatic denial of admission to the major.

Psychology Major for Transfer Students — UCLA Psychology Department: Home

Okay, you can take Intro to Psych one more time. As in, if you received a C- your first time, you can then retake it for a higher grade. You can only repeat one class in the major prereqs. This would be your one to repeat.

It says “Repetition of any preparation course more than once”. You may retake it one time, hopefully do well, and then finish up your other requirements.

Double check with a knowledgeable counselor to verify this though.
