HELP! Will High schools be a deciding factor for admissions?

<p>I come from a crappy school...I mean crappy. Last month, we had a teacher arrested for sexual relationships with a minor in school.....today, we had our chief janitor having misused girls in modeling...we're a C- school, one of the only schools around the district to have lowered in Star testing results...the principal is an ass, and people are trying hard to impeach him.</p>

<p>I really plan to tear gas my school once i graduate...lol jk
anyways, will my school history affect my admissions???</p>

<p>MIT will look at your school background as part of your overall context. If anything, if you’ve been able to achieve despite your school environment, that will be a point in your favor.</p>
