So I got accepted to UCI based on the grades I've submitted. And I decided to review my app again, and it turns out I forgot to enter 2 classes I've taken my sophomore year, which was PE, and AG Earth Science. PE I got A's in both semesters, but in AG earth science, I received a B first semester, and a D second semester. I haven't sent out my official transcript yet, or anything. I don't know what to do at this point.

On the freshmen contract, it says
"Your admission to UC Irvine will be withdrawn if you do not satisfy each of the above conditions or any information you submitted does not agree with official documentation, including failing to report all schools attended, or all A-G courses completed (original failing grades and grades for courses repeated). You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information reported on the University of California undergraduate application for admission and scholarships."

I'm not sure if those classes would matter, since I've already completed my A-G requirements. I've already had 2 years of a science (not including AG Earth), and I'm sure PE isn't A-G.

Any insight on what to do? Should I contact the admissions office at UCI? or just wait it out, and hope they don't revoke my admission.

well certainly don’t hide under a rock crossing your fingers and hoping it’s going to be alright. take action! call their admissions office and explain your situation and hope for the best.

I’m going to call the admissions office in the morning. I was also told that Earth Science isn’t an A-G requirement, and that it shouldn’t matter. I’ve already taken Biology, and Chemistry, and currently in Physics.

Definitely call admission and report the discrepancy. It’s much better to have the truth in the open then to send in transcripts and have them find the error. They’ll just think your hiding something.

Hmm, so after a couple hours of spazzing out, a friend of mine reassured me I won’t get revoked. I got accepted into UCI with a 3.58 GPA, and even if I were to include those classes, it wouldn’t matter right? Since they aren’t A-G and they would just overlook it. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the GPA they use to admit you, is based only on A-G classes you took soph-jr year right?

Ahhh, I think I’m screwed. I went on <a href=“A-G Policy Resource Guide”>A-G Policy Resource Guide; to check if AG Earth Science was an A-G requirement, and it turns out it is. Earth Science isn’t, but AG Earth Science is. It falls under g-elective. I have already fulfilled the G requirement, but I’m still kind of scared. Not including a D I got in an A-G requirement? ■■■…Has anyone had their admission revoked because of this?

I am going to attend Bradley University next year and Im a little nervous because I think I mite get revoked. I applied with a 3.4 and my first semester of senior year I got a 2.5. Im just a little lost of what to do now. My grades have been alot better this semester and Im hoping I can keep them to like a 3.4-3.5ish. I was just wondering if you had any advice of what I could do. Should I speak with my guidance counselor or an admissions counselor? Is there anything I can do? Will I be revoked. Any feedback would be great. Thanks so much.

@bigmdig, you just can’t get MULTIPLE D’s or F’s through senior year, and you’ll be fine…straight C’s are ok, or just ONE D, but other than that, it’s all good…

As for OP, well, I’ll say I had a similar, but smaller situation than this. I applied to UCI, and someone originally told me I can leave out some community college courses if I didn’t do well on them…Then I read whatever you just read, and then started to super freak out since I had to report everything else I was going to get revoked. However, I just emailed my counselor and basically stated everything that happened and they said it would be okay after a conversation…hope the same happens with you, good luck
