I am a transfer student from UNCW to WVU for spring 2013 semester. I got admitted to WVU (im a freshman) about a month ago, and they based it on my high school records. I have already been given an email, a roommate, meal plan, room assignment, and paid orientation fees and all deposits. However, you need a 2.0 gpa from college. I did awful fall semester, and I got a 1.86. One teacher did say i WAS supposed to get an A (long story) but dropped my grade to a D after I confronted her, making my GPA a 1.46. With the A, i was supposed to have a 2.06.

WVU won't admitt transfers if they have below a 2.0, but I have already been assigned everything and paid all deposits. Do you think I will still be admitted for spring semester? or will they revoke my admission.

I was thinking about calling and explaining my situation, asking if I could be put on academic probation or start as a new freshman. In high school, I had a 3.4 GPA and I had a 27 ACT composite, 26 math, 27 reading, 33 english, 10 writing, and 24 science. Should i explain i had an awful first semester and to base it off of my high school gpa? I have no idea what to do! If they revoke me, I will be out of college. Will my admission from WVU be revoked??
