Help !! Will the majors I chose for UC's hurt my chances?

<p>I have a very low gpa for UC's 3.7, so I would be lucky to get into the mid tier schools. Will the majors I selected hurt my application chances?</p>

<p>Does it matter that I am undeclared life science? Will thathurt me? I know applying biology will hurt me, but since I only applied biology as my alternate major will I be ok?</p>
