Hey all, I need help with this question. Maybe I forgot how to do this kind of problems or there is an error in the book that I am using.

The question is:

If f(x)=4x-8 and g(x)=3x^2 +7, then g(f(3)) =

What I did was plugging in the 3 for x in the f(x)=4x-8 which gave me 4. Then I plugged it into the g(x)=3x^2 +7 function which gave me 55. However according to the book, the answer is 68. I am pretty sure that is how I am supposed to solve this kind of questions ( unless my teacher taught me wrong ).

Thanks for help!
