<p>to OP: don’t retake MCAT with a 31. Your score could go down. Progression from a 29 to a 31 is fine. Get your applications in ASAP this summer. </p>
<p>Job advice: apply to work at a nursing home or Alzheimer’s/dementia care facility. My D did this during her application year. She learned a TON. She was the activities director for half the year and then trained to administer meds and was the evening supervisior the second half of the year. This gave her something to talk about in her interviews and she also learned so much about patient care, dealing with families, and so on. It’s hard work, but she learned so much.</p>
