I took the ACT a while back and was expecting a 32, instead I scored a 30 (or a 30.25 to be exact). Here is how my test scores break down: 34 Math, 31 Reading, 27 Science, 29 English. On the SAT, I do really good on Writing (around 750ish), yet I dont do as well on English on ACT... Any suggestions overall? Thanks

You could lightly review some writing and English concepts, but the key thing to do is practice! The more you practice, the better you will do. I think if you do enough practice tests, you’ll get a good feel of how you should answer questions. ACT passages are long, so they can throw in tiny things such as a tense shift between paragraphs that you may not catch. SAT has short sentences, so it is easier to catch things like that.

hoe is the Princeton 1296 book? I got only 4 wrong on the English section, but I am not sure if it is easier than the real thing. Any thoughts?

Know your comma rules. The ACT likes to test you on how you place your commas.
