<p>I'm applying to Brown's PLME,washington in st louis direct med, Wayne state med start, Pittsburgh Guarentted Med, the guarenteed med at UCLA and UCSF and any other direct med programs that I can think of and I need help! I don't know what my chances are but here are my stats: (sorry its kind of long)</p>
<p>3.97 GPA
I go to an International Baccalaureate school so all classes are IB (its kinda like an AP) and its a nationally recognized high school
my ACT composite is 36
SAT is 2340
PSAt 226 (so national merit scholar), I am taking subject SATs in Math II, CHemistry, and possibly literature so i dont have those scores yet</p>
<p>I have been volunteering 4 hours a week at a hospital since I was in 9th grade
I have been dancing for 10 years and do a lot of charity with it, my dance school in collaboration with a society raised $15,000 for underprivelaged children in India from a charity event, but there are many other smaller charity events we have histed
I have a job at a retail store
I job shadow 8 hours every week over the summer (a family practioner, and I;m trying to get one with a pediatrician)
I have been a board member of the Indian American Student ASsociation at my school for a year and I will be on board for this coming year too and it is a huge time committment
I am part of the Science Olympiad and Model UN debate team at my school, I participated in the Chemistry Olympiad 2011
I have done a medical career mentorship because I really want to be a doctor, and I took a mini dissection course and dissected a cat, baby shark, frog, and human cadavre</p>
<p>I have been applying for research and hopefully I will have some research done by the time apps are over
I also have worked as a dance teacher and have volunteered at my dance school teaching younger children and in 2010 I got $2000 funding for my dance through a program founded by Michigan state University, it was kinda like a scholarship for dance
I volunteer at Aloha Mind Math to teach kids math
I attended a Chemistry camp at the university of michigan this year and studied dye-sensitized solar cells</p>
<p>I am an Indian so thats ethnicity, uhh I cant think of anything else but someone PLEASE tell me if i have good chances for direct/accelerated med programs?</p>
