Help With Admissions

Well, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'll give it a shot anyways! (:

I applied to SFSU and have been told that my application will not be looked at because I didn't send my SAT scores in. SFSU is the only college I have heard of that is requiring this; SDSU, Sac State, and Stanislaus all told me that they go on self-reported scores and that I should send my scores AFTER I am admitted. But on my application status checker for SF, it said I needed to send the scores, so I called the testing dept number listed and they told me to go ahead and send it. So I sent it in about 3 weeks ago and then called to make sure that they got it. The person at undergrad admissions then told me that they wouldn’t look at my application because I “didn’t send it in before the February 26 deadline”. I told them that nobody had told me there was a deadline. Undergrad told me also that because I didn’t live in the Bay Area that I didn’t have priority, even after I had told them that some of my friends got in. So I asked them what I should do and they told me to call back in a month and MAYBE they would look at my application. I then decided to call testing, and the same guy who I had talked to last said he didn’t know of any such deadline. I even went online to the “Dates and Deadlines” page on the school website (Dates + Deadlines - Future Students - San Francisco State University) and all it said about SAT was that I had to take it by Dec. 2009 (which I did).

So…. any advice about what I should do? Should I call undergrad again or file a complaint or…? I really want to go to SF and it’s not my grades that are affecting my admissions because I got accepted to San Diego State, and they’re more prestigious that SF.

Well, SFSU said that you must send your SAT, then do it. They I tried to apply at SFSU but they told me that they do not accept second degree :(

I did send it in but they said they won’t look at it… so I don’t know what to do now since I really didn’t know about the deadline thing…
