Help with Andover admissions

<p>I would like to apply at Andover. My ssat isn't that great, though. I got a 2145. But my grades are good, all A's except one. I also play soccer (have been division 1 and also play MAPLE here in Massachusetts). </p>

<p>I have the chance to re-take the SSAT in Jan. The 2145 comes in at 78%. Id like to get at least 85% rank. With85% rank, anyone know if that is good enough for Andover or Milton? </p>

<p>I would say that it can’t hurt you to try again in Jan. My son took the Nov. 8th test, was convinced he blew it, and got an 87%. He took it again in December, was far more relaxed, and got a 96%. He did not do any extra studying, so a relaxed outlook definitely helps.</p>
