help with AP World!

hey guys...this is my first post. I'm having a lotta trouble already with ap world history. anyone who has taken this class or any ap history class, if you guys could give me tips like on how to study and best take notes, etc. that would be awesome. I'm reading and keeping up with the class, but I still don't do well on the tests! thanks guys, I really appreciate it!

hahhahah. ap world history.. that class was so amazing for me. we used a textbook called world civilizations by peter something. it was a total snorefest.. 25 pages of small print boring history. luckily, our class soon found that there was a textbook website that had all the outlines for each chapter. the outlinest themselves were still around 8 pages, but they were at least concise. then again, reading does prepare you well for the ap exam and for other things (i.e., reading boring stuff on the SAT, etc). if I were you, I would read the chapters / outline them while you do it. or, if your textbook has a website, review the outline / take the quizzes. oh yeah, i earned a 5 if that makes any difference. feel free to PM me if you need any help, though I doubt I remember anything :P

The website that Rikataka mentioned is pretty good. It's <a href="http://occawlonline.pearsoned.com/bookbind/pubbooks/stearns_awl/chapter1/deluxe.html%5B/url%5D">http://occawlonline.pearsoned.com/bookbind/pubbooks/stearns_awl/chapter1/deluxe.html</a></p>

I also got 5 on world history, as well as US and European history.

definitely use any outlines and notes you find online. just search around. THey're as good as review book, and they're free. If you study those pretty well, you'll almost definitely get a 5.

world history is pretty easy to learn if u find an online outline like the one there^^

but the essays n stuff is something u'll have to work hard on and ask questions about to your teacher

ahh, where did you guys find the access codes???????????
