help with appeal!

hey i'm appealing, just cause i don't know how i got rejected considerign some of the people got in...i think it was my comm major, so i'm gonna try to get in undeclared or with poli sci, but w/e my stats are on my profile thing, i have a draft of the letter PLEASE pm me so i can send it to you and get as much input as possible.

hey mel did you get my revisions?

=/ Mel, how do you make an appeal? Is it similar to a resume? I'm planning to appeal at a different college.

the reject letter came with an attached sheet on how to appeal at USC every school is different

Appeals are different for different colleges. USC simply requires that you send in a new transcript which includes the mid semester grades along with a statement explaining any extenuating circumstances which may have contributed to a poor junior year, or a suspension or something of the sorts. They also require that it be received by April 9th. I sent off mine today. Unfortunately, considering the fact that it's been written for about two weeks now, it was two pages long. But, whatever, I'm a writer.

yeah i got them my parents were in here forever talking to me about what im gonna do next year soo yeah i got a lot of revising to do now

O_O OMG I did not know that! [panics] I thought you just write them an appeal and send it to the college. OMG OMG OMG!

Good luck mel and main! =]

i'm appealing too, and i'm driving it up friday.

i overnighted mine this morning so it should be there soon. and my dads friend is gonna call tomorrow i think and i hope it helps

Question, did you guys fax the appeal or just send them the appeal through regular mail? ?_?

usc says to mail em they wont accept faxed appeals

Ok. :] Thanks Mel. ^_^ I'm not sending the appeals to USC if that's what you're wondering. :)
