k so in chapter 4 the last question, which of the following is a correct statement about the american colonies in the 1770's before the outbreak of the revolutionary war?

It says the answer is A which says except for a few radicals, american colonies generally accepted the policies of king george the 3rd ministers, didnt he impose all the taxes and stuff, the whole chapter is how the colonies hated him because of his taxes...

why isint the answer B, Most americans resisted british goverment's efforts to impose new taxes.... sounds just about right... thanks guys

come on guys i need help here

I have to say that that IMHO the answer choices are poorly written. This question is a good example of why it is best to order copies of the real exams from the College Board’s Online Store. That said, the best answer is A since by the 1770’s “most” Americans were not resisting the British government’s efforts to impose new taxes. “Most” Americans probably did resist the Stamp Act. But that was back in 1765. The question says in the 1770s before the outbreak of the Revolutionary War? Always remember that about 1/3 of the Colonists were Loyalists. Still the more I look at this question the less I like it.

thanks alot… ya i hate stupid crap like that its like how can we trick u

^ agree with TestMonster, although that is a confusing question…
hey, that looks eerily similar to my teacher’s test question… I should pick up that book XD
