Help with Assist.org humanities/CS classes

Anyone know how to find transferable humanities for college of engineering? I'm searching from Berkeley City College, and the GE/breadth selection appears to only be for L&S.

Also, does anyone know if you can find comparable courses at BCC for CS classes? In particular, I'm looking for some class that will cover some of the stuff that CS61A covers because I might not be able to take this class and it might be helpful down the road. EDIT: just looked through the catalog and I don't think they even have any CS classes =/

You cannot skip CS61A without having taken it already (at Berkeley) or taken an extremely similar class at another high-level university. I really doubt that a community college class will satisfy the requirement for CS61A.

That was not my intention; I simply wanted some programming experience before I take other programming classes.

To be honest, you won’t get much (if any) credit for CS classes in community college. If you want some experience beforehand, you can look at the CS61A course curriculum (it’s all online) and do some self studying. The CS61A textbook is even available, in entirety, online.

The CS61A course website is: [CS61A Home Page](<a href=“CAS - Central Authentication Service”>http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~cs61a/)
