Help With Attendance

<p>Alright, here's the deal. I'm a bright student, I'm trying to get into college. I've been looking all over the place, and all these colleges are too expensive. I can't afford to spend $30,000 a year at college. Maryland was really appealing to me, and I want to go, but the problem is, it has a high tuition just like everywhere else. Can someone please tell me how much roughly it will cost to attend this school? I can't find it anywhere online that matches my stats</p>

<p>I have:
A 36 ACT
SAT Subject Tests: Math 2 - 800, Chem - 790
3.95 GPA, straight A's since Freshman Second Semester
I've been going to the local community college since Sophomore year, and have completed (with a 4.0GPA) Calculus 2, Calculus 3, Differential Equations, and am now enrolled in an Independent Studies course one-on-one with my favorite professor covering an intro into real analysis
I'm a senior in high school
AP's: Four 5's, One Four. Currently taking 4 AP classes senior year, pretty positive I'll get a 5 in Physics, Bio, Stats and a 4/5 on Econ
National Honor Society
President of Mu Alpha Theta
2nd in State for Math - Geometry Individual and 3rd in State for Math - Algebra 2 Individual
Took the AIME, scored a 4
Family income $100,000-$130,000. Two younger sisters
Assets that match my families income
1st place in Junior Varsity Regional Track Conference for the 400m Sophomore year
30+ Tutoring Volunteer Hours
Part Time Job since the summer, over 100+ hours</p>

<p>I'm fairly confident on my ability to get in, this isn't a chance thread. Can someone please help me understand what kind of financial responsibilities I'm facing?</p>

<p>For the education you get, UMD’s price tag is relatively low. Maryland’s cost with room, tuition, and other fees is roughly 22.5k. With those stats you should easily get in with some money. You are definitely a candidate for the president’s scholarship (2k-12k in scholarships) and maybe even the banneker/key full ride if you are lucky. Good luck</p>

<p>I’m out of state though, so isn’t tuition $39,800?</p>

<p>[University</a> of Maryland - Tuition](<a href=“http://www.admissions.umd.edu/admissions/finaid/tuition.asp]University”>http://www.admissions.umd.edu/admissions/finaid/tuition.asp)</p>

<p>Oh sorry I missed that. You’re right, and it’s going to be tougher to pay for oos. Not sure about what kind of money they give for oos, sorry.</p>

<p>You can still get B/K if you are out of state. If not full B/K, partial B/K (1/2 tuition and books) makes it not as out of bounds. The president’s scholarship is also open to OOS students.</p>
