Help with blogging?

<p>Hey all, I'm not sure which forum I should post this in, so don't hate.</p>

<p>Anyways, I'm really iinterested in education issues and education policy. I plan to major in public policy in college (with a focus in education and health policy). I have a lot of commentary on education policy like no child left behind, affirmative action, community colleges, and race to the top. I usually end up going on long tangents with my family or my friends about these topics. </p>

<p>I want to start a blog about education, but I'm not sure where to start. Im not saying that I dont know how to make blog on blogspot or Wordpress, but I want to know how to publicize and make my blog get viewers. Does anyone have experience blogging?</p>

<p>Btw I'm not doing this to help me get admitted, just to create an outlet for my ideas.</p>

<p>I worked with very popular fashion bloggers when I was a Public Relations Intern at a very reputable e-retailer.
If I were you, I would use Blogger because it has its own little inside community. Wordpress also works just as well.
From there I would visit other blogs, comment on them, etc. and link to your own blog when you comment.</p>
