So i just started reading Silas Marner for my English class and i was wondering how you guys worked with the book. It feels like a hard read for me. Even generally speaking, how do you guys attack a hard reading? Do you read it twice? Do you take tons of notes? Help ! ! ! Thank ya

Hard reading in general:

Read slowly, carefully. After every few pages (or chapter at least), make sure you remember all the major plot points and think about some symbolism. Taking notes/Post-Its can be helpful, but only after you've finished a section (go back, skim the chapter, and take notes while you're doing so).

thank you :]

SparkNotes: Silas Marner
why on earth are you reading it?

lol cuz i have to. Sparknotes doesnt give details.
