Help with Books

What site(s) would you recommend for ordering books online, that is both cheap, and ships the books fast (guaranteed less than 3 weeks)?

Also, is it better to order from different sites, if the lowest prices are on different sites, or is better to order every book from one site?

Here are the books I have to buy if you're want to look:

Chinese Art & Culture, by Vinogrod (I couldn't find the book by the author, but I did find a "Vinograd". It might be a typo on UCLA's part)- $61.75 used

Principles of Modern Chemistry 6th Edition, by Oxtoby (would you recommend getting the student solutions manual, too?)- w/manual: $196.50

Calculus of a Single Variable, by Rogawski- $72.75

There is also a message, below the "add to cart" section of where I find my books on the UCLA Store site that says:

"The textbooks for this section could not be found at this time. Please check back at the bookstore later for more information."

Is there really a book that "cannot be found at the time", or does it always say that?

Thanks~

www.amazon.com
they are much cheaper than the book store. Just be sure to check the isbn number to see if you have the right book.

If you're interested you can also buy from other students. Some of the prices are much cheaper than the bookstore. You can check out bruinwalk.com and facebook marketplace.

www.campusi.com

Principles of Modern Chemistry 6th Edition, by Oxtoby (would you recommend getting the student solutions manual, too?)- w/manual: $196.50

A better question would be - who is the professor?

Okay, thanks for the sites, you two~ And I forgot about the marketplace, but I shall look through it soon

The professor of my chem20A class is Scerri.

campusi.com really helped, thanks everyone!

Yeah I have a question about the solutions manual too. If I buy off campusi from the international place, it's $90 for the book, but I can't find the solutions manual anywhere except amazon where its $70 or so. Would you recommend getting it off the store or still going with other places (Btw I have the same prof)?

I doubt that I'll buy one. Here you go: http://www.campusi.com/prod.pl?cat=book&ean=9780495112266&lang=en-us&search_country=us&shipto=us&currency=usd&zip=&nw=y&limit=10&use_ajax=1

since you have scerri, don't bother buying oxtoby. all you need is course reader (if even)

Really? Where did you read that, and where can I get the reader? Thanks for the info.

Oh, it's "Gelbart/Scerri"

i didn't read that, i took his class.

Oh, I see x3

There's a new book, you'll probably need the Oxtoby for 20B.

Oh, okay then, thanks~

Scerri emailed everyone that 5th edition is okay for his 20A class. Used 5th editions are way (!) cheaper than the 6th edition w/solutions manual.

Think 5th edition will be okay for 20B too?

And there are some really cheap (5 bucks) solutions manuals on amazon. I assume they are usually complete sm if they dont say otherwise, not abridged like the one thru UCLA that's abridged for UCLA. Anyone know?

does the online ucla bookstore give the isbn for the books we need?
