<li><p>This one isn't so bad if you are organized and can get your numbers straight. If it is 12 noon in NY, and 9am in Pacific, then there is a three hour time difference, with NY being ahead.
If a plane takes off at 12NY time, and lands at 4 P, then the plane travels a total of 7 hrs. (12-4 is four hours, plus three hrs for the time switch).
If the same trip is made, except from San Fran to NY, starting at noon, then you know that the trip will take seven hrs. 12pm-7pm is 7 hrs. PLUS THE TIME DIFFERENCE, so it'll bw A)10pmEST</p></li>
