Help with checking app status!

<p>I sent my paper application to Princeton 3 weeks ago but I never got a confirmation e-mail saying my application was received. I e-mailed them about it but all I got for a reply was "Due to the high volume of mail up to the January 1 deadline, there can be a delay between the time we receive your materials and when they appear on the tracking system. Please keep checking the system. "</p>

<p>The only problem is that I can't check the tracking system because the username/password comes with the confirmation e-mail...which I never got.</p>

<p>I never got an e-mail either. I visited <a href=“https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/register.jsp[/url]”>https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/register.jsp&lt;/a&gt; and just registered an account. ezpk.</p>

<p>Haha I just noticed that the site tells you to select your own username/password. I guess I just worked myself into a panic because all my other colleges supplied both for me. Thanks for putting up with my silliness. >.< </p>

<p>…though now I’m having trouble registering because it says my PIN and e-mail address don’t match. Agggh.</p>

<p>You are using the same PIN that you put on your Common App right?</p>

<p>Definitely am. I even have a hardcopy of my application and what I typed in matches exactly what’s on my app. I don’t know what’s wrong.</p>

We too received the PIN/email don’t match when we tried to register at <a href=“https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/register.jsp[/url]”>https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/register.jsp&lt;/a&gt; Did you ever have any luck getting registered?</p>

<p>Nope. No luck. I’m sorry that happened to your daughter too! :frowning: I e-mailed Princeton about it, but they usually take a week to respond. I’ll probably call the admissions office tomorrow.</p>

<p>I submitted my application on Monday evening, and I received a confirmation email late Tuesday night. I tried logging in with my PIN this morning (Wednesday), and it worked.</p>

<p>I also got an email today confirming that my application is complete. </p>

<p>So, momma_mia, I’m guessing you need to wait at least a couple days. The admissions office need to process the application first.</p>
