help with choosing a math class?

hi everyone,
this is my first post but i've been lurking here for a while now :)
i am rather conflicted on which math class to choose for next year for my senior year.. my options at this point are between number theory, multivariable calculus, and linear algebra.

i am undecided at this point as to what i want to go into as a career. this year i took discrete mathematics, which is supposedly similar to number theory, leading me to lean away from this option.

any advice or opinions are appreciated! thank you.

bump? anyone with any advice? i’ve been getting rather mixed responses from students in my school whom i have asked.

I don’t know what you should choose, but your school is AMAZING. My school has nothing but AP calc and AP stat. I’d kill for those classes…take as many as you can.

They’re all excellent choices, since most people at even the very top schools don’t have post-Calculus BC experience.

I would take Multi Variable.

Take MV, because apparently you’re supposed to take that before Linear Algebra. I have no clue what “Number Theory” is.

Obviously multivariable

High school number theory sounds weak, but maybe it will be something advanced. Even so, it’s not especially useful if you don’t know what you want to do.
