Hey everyone,
I'm currently a freshman at Virginia Tech with a Life Sciences Undecided major. Last year I applied to Cornell and they offered me a guaranteed transfer into CALS as an animal science major for this upcoming fall which I'm currently planning on accepting. I'm a little past midway in first semester here at Tech, and I'm about to start registering for courses for second semester. I was given a list of courses by Cornell that I was required to take and so far I've completely the majority of them. As of right now my courses are as follows:

General Chemistry & Lab, Honors Biology & Lab, Statistics, Intro to Biochem, and English.

Next semester to fulfill the last of the requirements, I'll be taking the next level of General Chem with a lab, the next level of Honors Biology with a lab, and Public Speaking (or English if the COMM classes fill up).

The only other class I'm considering taking is an Intro to Animal Science course & lab, which is a requirement for animal sci majors at Tech (in case i do decide to stay put here.. although that's pretty unlikely).

So in any case, without the intro to animal sci class, that gives me 11 credits, leaving me 4-9 more that I can choose. I was wondering if any current Cornellians (especially animal science majors) could give me any advice on what courses I should consider taking? Perhaps any really difficult courses that I might have an easier time with here at Tech? Or just courses I should get out of the way? I've been trying to look up lists of requirements for an animal sci degree, and I'm not having much success.. So yes.. any suggestions?

Oh, and I also was wondering if there were any math courses other than Statistics that are needed for animal science.

Any help would be much appreciated! :)

Thanks
-Cindy
