Seriously, UNC is in the "consideration set" while the other two are not. A reasonably gopd student at UNC will have all the doors open to him/ her but I can't say the same about the other two.

UNC by a mile. Then Florida. I live in Michigan (near the Ohio border), and nobody around here has even heard of Case. Go to Case, and you'll be explaining what it is the rest of your life (unless you settle in north central Ohio).

lol,, I agree TourGuide446. I live in Northwest Pennsylvania which is about 4 hours from Cleveland and When a seinor Last year said he was going to Case-Western on a football scholarship,, I was like ""where the heck is that""

Atmosphere would be better at FLorida or UNC,, just because of the Sports.

Not getting a scholarship from UNC. So I might be leaning towards Case a little bit.

UNC is worth every penny!

UF has some great undergrad opportunties with Shands...don't sell it short!

Shands? what's that?

I dunno about UNC OOS...28,000 is a lot

UNC is elite, go there.

You said you were interested in medical school. Shands is UF's medical school...one of the best in the country.

ohh....ok thanks. I prolly won't spend all eight years in the same place though.

I'm adding another one.

Emory, paying $32,000 a year

Does the higher ranking (than UNC) make it worth spending 4k to 5k more?

emory and unc are about equal.

There are differences between private schools and public schools that may make it worth more for you (smaller faculty:student ratio, more OOS students, etc). However, both schools seem the same academically to me.

I have another to add!

Full tuition (not full ride) at Brandeis! How good is Brandeis?

Florida. Definitely. Just as good academically and a much nicer environment.

I would definitely go to Emory over UNCCH or Brandeis unless money is a huge issue.

Why is Florida just as good academically??? People always say this but I wonder if it's true.
