Hi I am currently a high school senior trying to finalize my college list for next year as it is due to my counselors tomorrow for early action. I have way to many colleges and can not choose which ones to get rid of. I want to study business (possibly finance or administration). I live in California and go to a very well known and difficult high school. I think it is ranked as the second best public high school in CA.
GPA: 3.9 W / 3.8UW (I didn’t do to well freshman year, but have pretty much gotten all As, except 1 B in an AP course, during sophomore and Junior year)
ACT: 35
APs: AP US History, AP Lang, AP Government, AP Macroeconomics, AP Psych, AP Calc AB, and AP Lit
I have also taken 3 honors classes.
I have okay extracurriculars: dance, volunteer at a hospital, 3 clubs (VP of one), work at real estate office
Heres my list:
Notre Dame
Northeastern (EA)
University Michigan (EA)
USC
Boston University
NYU
Tulane (EA)
Villanova (EA)
UT Austin
UWA
Penn State (EA)
Santa Clara (EA)
Ohio State (EA)
Oregon (EA)
Syracuse
University of Virginia
UNC Chapel Hill
UPenn (legacy)
UCLA
Berkeley
UCSB
UC Davis
Santa Cruz
Cal Poly
SDSU
I am hoping to go to a pretty big school (at least 6,000 people, preferably over 10,000) and my top choice is University of Michigan Ross but I know its a reach for me. I am also hoping for a school with good social life and preferably a good football team.
Any opinions are helpful!
